Some of my favorite books.

HELLO!
So with school already started the last few months I have been trying to cram in some of the best novels I have ever read EVER. One of them is called MASTER by Toni Sorensen oh my gosh I can't express enough how much I thoroughly enjoyed the novel about a little mute servant boy serving Jesus Christ in the shadows. If you want to learn more about Jesus Christ and the footsteps he took (as I am sure we all do) this is one of the best ways to do it. AHHHHHHH I love this book.
The other book is called Pillar of Fire by David Woolley oh it's so neat it brings to life like you wouldn't believe the world of Lehi and His family and what was happening before Lehi came into the mix and left Jerusalem. So if you are looking for a GREAT read that is so enlightening and life changing. These two are my TOP PICKS!

So school started and now I get to read the books informing me on Biology, History and Astronomy. OH YEAHHHH!!

We Got A Scooter!!

Chris got a job managing & marketing these awesome custom scooters. There are over 18 different colors that you can mix & match. HAHAHA It took us awhile to decide on the colors we wanted. I loved the white scooters with pink, green, blue but we compromised and decided on Periwinkle and Black it looks so sharp I will post a picture when ever both of us isn't riding it. We are having so much fun on it.

SO AWESOME!!

So I have my own theories about the mysterious dinosaurs not until we ( Avery, Matthew , Camille and Matt) went to the awesome dino museum @ Thanksgiving Point did I understand how extraordinary they really are. WOW we had a blast here are some pics to document our journey through prehistoric time.

This was the same week as shark week on discovery channel so we loved seeing this shark.

Camille is Super Women she was running around (literally) having a blast even though she is due in a few weeks NOTHING STOPS HER SHE AMAZES ME!

And that makes Him 22

MY little Christopher turned 22 on August 12 I had a big party for him with the help of my sister and it turned out to be one of the best birthday parties ever. We started the party with some of the best food Utah county has to offer (Costco pizza) THANK YOU CAMILLE! After we filled up on yummy melted cheese and enriched flour we decided to show off our accuracy skills hitting the pinata.

Chris started by doing what I used to do to my family, pick em up and spin them as fast as you can. Mike Lloyd missed the pinata nearly hits me while managing to hit a huge bucket of tortilla chips. Chips went flying everywhere it was hilarious

After cake we played the best game of kickball hahaha it was a blast of course my team WON oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah

That party was just for family and friends and as it was ending our party was just beginning. Here we are gassing up for our overnight getaway. We started by getting a lot of treats for our ride up to SLC.I surprised him with the Jungle Safari room at the Anniversary Inn we loved it so much we got there and had crisp sparkling apple cider chilling in a bucket with flutes ahhhh it was so relaxing

After we ran around our room we headed to Thiaphoon a restaurant at The Gateway it was so delicious we were VERY pleased with everything we ordered and believe me with a husband like Chris it was a lot of entries.

After dinner we walked around gateway talking and laughing what we like to do more than anything.

Of course we had to hit up the tub since the water comes out of the trunk of an elephant there is nothing like sharing your jacuzzi tub with an African native wild animal.

At 8:00am we were woken up with this delicious breakfast at our door. Breakfast in bed you gotten love that. Happy birthday to Chris.

After we had breakfast we went to the Salt Lake Temple together and enjoyed a session That was the best part of the whole getaway birthday bash.

After a session we went to the Garden Room one of our new favorite restaurants and headed home. I can't wait for my birthday October 10 couldn't come fast enough.

Here is a little snippet from my most favorite book The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands (aside the Twilight series of course) I am already reading it for the second time and plan to read it dozen more times.

Chris's real birthday is on August 12th and I have big big plans we are heading out of town for real adventure and he has no idea about any of it. OHHHHHHHH YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH

My new FAVORITE artist she is so relaxing I listen to her all day I just can't get enough of her. Her name is Madeleine Peyroux (yeah I know her name is even awesome) she has a few CDs but my favorite is Half the Perfect World. Be careful once you look her up and listen there is no turning back you will be at FYE tonight buying her CD.
