Rock Climbing, Coraline, Speed Dating, & Snow Chains

This is what we have been up to the last few weeks besides of course the usual.

Chris had the weekend off so we decided to exert energy he would have otherwise used all up on the court by going to the Quarry to rock climb. It was my first time ever and Chris's first time in 10 years so it was pretty tough at first but we really had a great time and stayed for hours long (it's open till midnight on the weekends) such a fun date idea.
For those who don't know me very well I am very afraid of high places so rock climbing was a great opportunity to overcome a fear but more important build more trust with Chris having faith and belive that he would never let me plumeth to the groung-and he didn't
It's more challenging holding the rope at the bottom for Chris than climbing. Probably because chris is huge and can go pretty fast it's tough to keep up with him. By the end of his climb my shoulder is on Fire.
Camille my adorable oldest sister recommended a resturant by the wells fargo bank called SPARK it's also a lounge the place is very sexy, sleek, and modern although their menu is small i would just go for the specialty drinks. We couldn't find it at first so these are our sad faces. We found it later....they have candied bacon ice cream Camille told us not to be fooled and thats it's good. I was fooled and will never have bacon ice cream YUCK
After dinner we rushed to color me mine it was closing in 15 minutes so we went to CORALINE a movie that I was DYING to see AND LOVED IT!! I want to see it again!! Chris loved it too the setting of the movie is in a little town in Oregon which brought back memories for Chris the director of the movie lived there while he was making the movie so he could know exactly what it was like living there which is totally awesome. (we are going to Oregon in May YIPEE)
Chris did a speed dating experiment for his psychology class I watch the time with a little pocket watch and Chris banged the DONG to switch seats it was pretty interesting to watch everyone.
Our super friends Ashley & Ryan invited us to their cabin it was such an adventure on the way up it was so incredibly icy we had four cars full of friends all together a fourth of the way up the hill we decided we were not going to make it's too icey so Chris reverses down the hill and Ryan our friend trys to turn the car around ending up sideways in the middle of this icy road sliding down towards traffic cars were coming around the bend down the hill and would see Ryan sideways in the middle of the road on one side of the road is a mountain and other a cliff so after 4 cars ramed the mountain to avoid craching into Ryan and Ash and going off a cliff, one car accident, and one attempted at our friend Ashley and Ryans life we decided to go back into town and get some snow tires after of course chris and I push 4 cars out of the mountain side which was so much fun :)
After snow chains we made it and had a blast.

Chris and some of the hubbies putting on the chains.

Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day!!

The Lehi Rotary Charity Ball

Chris and I had the pleasure to go to a charity ball on Friday. There was dinner a live band and of course dancing. One of my all time favorite songs is edelweiss some of you may know this song from the Sound of Music one of my favorite movies. Anyway THEY PLAYED IT! Chris sings that song to me frequently so it was so amazing to dance to a live band while they play our favorite song has Chris sings to me. AHHHHH priceless moments that I live for.

I struggled trying to find a appropriate dress that I felt comfortable in until I went to Banana Republic you gotta love BR!

Chris is in Colorado as I create this post :( oh how I miss him

Chris and I went to the play Throughly Modern Milley it was remarkable. Our two friends played the lead roles. The play took place in the 20's so there was a lot of great Charleston dancing that Chris and I picked up very fast! But this is whole different post.

You know I deserve some credit dancing with someone almost 7 feet tall takes some talent :)

Whenever we get a night together it is too good to be true Chris is already trunky when it comes to school-oh boy this might be a long semester.

after the ball in my PJ's we watched one of our favorite shows Monk and than went to bed.
Do you love my feather i got a bunch of them and probably wear them a little too much.
Sometimes I forget I have a dimple on my felt cheek.
