Dresden the city we love

Guten Tag,

Chris had about 2.5 days off so we decided to take advantage looked at my list of places I really to go and we went.
It was incredibly insane crossing the boarder all of a sudden ALL the street signs were different and the terrain was different in a snap of a finger.
A friend of ours from our Branch got us a BUNCH of American food from the military base in Germany. I got canned pumpkin, stuffing, chocolate chips, american cereal and a bunch of other stuff. We were so happy to get it all on Sunday!
Here we are on our way to Germany after church with McDonalds and Lucky Charms they truly are Deliciously Magical.
We did not like our first hotel room so we upgraded and couldn't have been more happy with our new room.
Here is our hotel it was incredibly!

These two are so cute together. The breakfast buffet was amazing!! I couldn't get enough of it. the food in Germany is WAY better the people are nicer and everyone we spoke to spoke English it was a dream.

This is the sunset from our room.

We found the most picturesque park right in the middle of everything it was perfect
Taimi got to stretch and crawl around she loved it
Chris tried to make me climb this HUGE tree we failed miserably at the attempt it was just to big

We tried to eat Germany food at the restaurants.
We were very pleased with all our choices
It was interesting to not be able to say Thank you, hello, goodbye, SORRY, only English and please again. But by the end of the trip we had it down. Does that mean I speak 3 languages now? Of course NONE of them are fluent. (English, Czech and German)

We even got to go swimming at the hotel pool. Taimi was SOOO good the whole trip from beginning to end. We have the best baby in the world!!

Goodbye Germany you treated us so well and showed us the best time we can't wait to visit you again.
It was surprisingly nice to see the Czech language again on signs although it is foreign it's somewhat understandable.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy you did this! Look how much fun you guys had! And the views look incredible. What a happy day (or days) for the Miles family!

I don't know if you've been checking but flying in Europe is CHE-AP!! Jonathan and I have been planning trips for our days off and we've seriously found flights for 15 Euro to some places. You have to do some digging and plan ahead but it's actually cheaper to fly somewhere for a day than to fill up your tank and drive. Here's the website I use to check a lot of the flights.

It's in Italian so maybe just google "Cheap Flights in Europe". But honestly, it's going to make visiting all the European cities tons easier. Woot Woot for European travel!
