We are alive...

Our Christmas was amazing! Our Anniversary was unforgetable! And yes I cut my hair...SHORT
Our trip home was an adventure to say the least and incredibly long. We were up for 28 hours STRAIGHT and our of those 28 hours it was daylight for about 19 of them. We were chasing the sun the whole day it was super neat.
It all started at 5:45am when our rides picked us up. YES we needed to take two little European cars. Our first flights was from Prague to Switzerland. We spent while in good ol'Switzerland it was beautiful there I mean incredible! But the thing that impressed us the most was the people. They were so cutious so nice and welcoming. Although we almost didn't get past customes cause of our passports...long story I almost pidled in my pants. But it all worked out. Their airline was pish posh. It was so nice. Every hour or so it would release some sort of refeshing citris smell ahhhh so nice they fed us the best foods and drinks it was so nice. Taimi didnt sleep the whole flight from Switzerland to Chicago...WAIT yes she did she fell asleep about 5 minutes before we landed.
CHICAGO now this is a place I dont love. Although it was beautiful it was snowing like you wouldn't believe thus resulting in what should have been a 3 hour layover into a 11 hour layover. Our flight kept getting delayed most flights were cancelled or delayed due to the weather. We actually didnt think we were going to fly out at all that night but finally they started boarding to come home. However we were stuck on the plane for another 3 hours before it took off because they were de-icing the plane. Taimi slept that whole flight. And was a complete angel the whole time we were stuck in the Chicago airport. The whole day and a half she didn't cry whine or throw a fit. She was perfect! When we got home it was yet another blizzard. We went from one blizzard to another. We arrived home around 5 in the morning.
And we arrived home to a Christmas tree, decorations, candles burning, and a warm cozy bed (thanks Mom)
We are so blessed and lucky that we were able to get home. We prayed for a month or so for this opportunity to spend Christmas with our families. Thank you Heavenly Father and thanks for getting us home safely!!
**still to come Prague Christmas markets, Anniversary Ski trip, and Christmas!
Home your Christmas's were merry and bright!

I hate Chicago too. I flew into there from London and they wouldn't let me on my flight and I had to stay the night. I was super pissed.

I love love love love LOVE your hair!! You're one of the lucky few who can look beautiful with every length of hair. Lucky duck! I'm so sorry the flight home was so darn long - I guess the best things are worth waiting for though right? haha (sorry, that's probably the last thing ANYONE stuck in an airport wants to hear, huh?)

Glad you had such an amazing Christmas! Miss you!

Second of all what the crazy crazy crazy trip over here!? I'm glad you made it, but so sad that I haven't seen you.

Thirdly, Chicago ALWAYS has delays. It's nuts. It still is my favorite place.
