Foggy Fog Fog

We are so happy it's December first! Which means we go home in 17 days!
It hasn't snowed here in Germany yet. Sometimes I sleep with my blinds pulled up just in case it snows. I love the snow. I love watching it fall. I love playing in it I love driving in it. I think it's one of the most beautiful things in the world.
However even though it hasn't been snowing it sure has been foggy so very foggy.
Once at midnight we were all up watching the fog out the window so we all decided to bundle up and take a stroll through the fog.
I love driving from village to village Christmas market to Christmas market through the thick fog. It makes it so exciting not being able to see what's in front of you or around you.
It makes this time of year even more romantic in this beautiful country.
So until it snows I will be enjoying the muffled Christmas lights through the thick fog.

Other than a little Christmas shopping here or there all we have done in the last week is visit all the local Christmas markets.
Basically every single city and village hosts a market no matter how big or small.
They start the last week of November or first weekend in December and last the whole month.

More on markets in post to follow.
