In love with Zuzu

Because of our daughters condition she lacks a lot of stamina. Nursing alone takes nearly everything out of her. I only get to nurse her three times a day and our holding time is limited to 90 minutes. To not be able to hold her and feed her when you feel she needs it or when I need it is easily the hardest thing. Or when she is crying and the nurses comfort her and know what to do instead of me, it's heart wrenching.

The nurses give her a bath every other early morning like around 2am. The other day the nurse told me how much Zuzu loves baths. I had to leave and hid out in the bathroom while I cried. I didn't even know she liked baths.

Zuzu is doing awesome she loves to nurse We both wish we could do it all day long. She loves to sleep she sleeps a good 20 hours a day. She is so affectionate loves to hold our fingers and stare in our eyes. I can't get enough of her.

And neither can anyone else...
Zuzu loves her visitors supporters and fans.

well that made me cry right there...I just don´t like hospitals. You know best what she needs and you proofed it giving birth and not getting the 99% theoretical needed c section. Wish I could give you a hug in the bathroom or just cry with you a little bit. eases the heart...

You are the sweetest people. Zuzu and Taimi are so lucky to have such wonderful parents. We will have you all in our thoughts and prayers. She sounds like a strong little girl.

CJ was 6 weeks early. I stayed up almost 48 hrs straight to not miss the chance to do anything. A few things I learned with our time in NICU. 1. She spent 8 months growing in your body, hearing your voice. She instantly knows you and no one will ever be able to give her comfort with just a hello like you can. 2. Sleep now, because when you get home you won't be able too, seriously your anxiety will kick in and you will check on her all night, so sleep so your body can heal. 3. It's ok to not constantly hold her in your arms (even though it's really hard) but you can stand or sit and tell her all the stories you want :). Love you guys, we're praying for y'all. Teri
