Carnival is a very festive season which typically involves a parade where they throw out millions of pieces of candy for the kids, rides, good food, and a public celebration and street party where EVERYONE is dressed up in circus or masquerade themes which mark an overturning of daily lives.
The celebration starts on November 11 at 11:11 and finished right before ASH Wednesday. The celebrations before Ash Wednesday are pretty huge.
Carnival Thursday it begins they call it "old womens day" or "The Womens Day." In commemoration of the 1824 revolt of washer-women ALL the women storm ALL the city halls and cut off the mens ties and all allowed to kiss any man that passes their way. LOL awesome!!!
Our town square looks beautiful it's crowded with rides and little food stands. All the street corners and boutiques are selling the cutest costumes.
We are ready for the celebration our camera is charges we have our little bag for Taimi to pick up candy and catch the candy which will be thrown at her and we all have our costumes. We cant wait to Celebrate Carnival with the Deutsch people.

Hahaha we are gearin' up to! They go all out over here! I was warned to stay away from one town that has a habit of throwing oranges at each other as part of the celebration. How random huh?! Oh well! Have fun and I can't wait to see your pics - what a fun time of year in Europe!!!!!!!
