HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TAIMI!
The night before she was born we finished decorating her room while watching Polar Express I am not sure how I slept but I managed to get a good nights rest before having to wake up at 5am to get to the hospital by 6. We drove listening to some calming Josh Groban while making a stop at Betos for some big fat breakfast burritos (yum) what I would give for one of those greasy things.
It was the most perfect morning besides having an itch all over my entire body due to a side effect some medicine it all went so smooth so peaceful so unforgettable.
You came into this world with ease and you live your worry free perfect little life with the same ease.
I always say during the "labor and delivery" it really was less labor and more delivery. Taimi I am convinced you did most the work.
I feel like I turned around while you were cooing and gurgling and now you can run climb talk and sing.
You always keep us on our toes and smiles on our faces.
You still suck your two fingers (index and middle) and you also still cuddle and love your purple blanket.
You become more and more independent as the days go by.
You don't need us as much as you used to you can even ride the carnival rides alone without us by your side.
You have become such a big girl.
You adjust and adapt to every situation we put you in.
So far you have lived in 7 different houses, apartments and flats and dozens for hotels.
Nothing gets you down.
You have one of the greatest attitudes just like your Daddy.
It's remarkable how much you talk and all the words and phrases you know.
Some of our favorite being,
help me please. I'm sorry. bye, love you. bath with bubbles. oh no. it stinks. Don't be sad, don't cry. hurry lets go, come on.
No matter what random city or country we take you to you manage to always have a good time and smile along the long journey.
If there ever is tomorrow when we're not together...there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we are apart...I'LL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU.
